Have you ever wondered: What’s it like to live the life of a pop star? In this fun mockumentary created by BETC Paris, Ibis hotels put the spotlight on real-life French band Naïve New Beaters. The sleek, black-and-white film, “Do Not Disturb” tells the (somewhat) fictitious story of musicians who are simply burnt out.
Tired, irritated, and undeniably spoiled, the band refuses to appease their fans with autographs and small talk, instead opting to hide out in the rooms and halls of Ibis hotels. In an attempt to escape the pressures of a touring band, they place a Do Not Disturb sign on the door and rekindle their passion for the pop star life.
Dark and funny, the four-minute piece is a humorous nod to the comfort of Ibis hotels.
Watch the spot.
